I haven't left a riddle for anyone to solve in a while.  I hope I found a challenging one this time! If I get no correct answers by tonight, I'll start leaving clues.  Good luck!

MIRROR

Mirror, mirror in my hand,

Your face all burned with light;

You dance in circles while you sing.

A jewel holds you tight.

Do you know why I'm doing a riddle tonight?  Because I can't think of a darn interesting thing to talk about!  So here it is:

MENACE

A menace, I creep

Silent and slow,

Obscuring your vision

And things that you know.

My blanket enfolds you,

But won't keep you warm.

You glimpse things familiar,

But I change their form.

By the sounds of the horn,

Know that danger is near;

By night or bright day,

It warns you to steer clear.

OK, it's been a while since I did a riddle.  Can you tell I save these for when I can't think of anything clever to say?  So, here is a riddle for y'all (I'm practicing for when I move South and become a Suthun Belle) .  Good luck!  If no one guesses correctly by the time I get home from work on Tuesday, I'll add hints.  I've never had to do that because y'all are really smart!

THINK TO HEAR

You'd think to hear about me,

That I never would be slow, 

Or that something would be shattered,

But it generally isn't so.

Do nuts show up?  Yes they do!

Perhaps serially.

Raise a toast to me!

I thought I'd get a post ready in case I don't get home tonight or tomorrow.   Here's another riddle.  I'll add a hint in the comments if no one figures it out by the time I can get online again.  As soon as someone guesses correctly, I'll let you know!!!  (hahaha  I forgot the answer to this one!  I have to think about it for a bit!)

Anger, Cowardice and envy

Appear to be just base emotions.

Riddle Me This

This is something I've been thinking of doing for some now.  But with John being in the hospital, then his recovery at home and finally with my computer crashing, I didn't want to start it.  But all is well now (knock wood!) and I can do this!

I wanted to do a weekly blog post with a riddle y'all can try to solve.  Some are easy, others more difficult.  I can even post a hint or 2 in the comment section if y'all are having trouble finding the answer. 

So I figured out to make a button and I added a link on my sidebar.  I'll figure out who to finish it up tonight.
