Dear So and So: The Yawn Edition

Dear Sun,
What the heck are you doing, waking me up at this ungodly hour?  I don't have to be at work until 11 am!  I could have slept until 9, but no!  You had to come up and wake me 3 hours earlier than needed.

Thanks for nothing,
Joanie

Dear Comfy Bed,
I miss you.  Never fear, though.  I'll be back tonight.

Sleepily,
Joanie

Dear Coffee,
How do I love thee?  Let me count the ways.  I love your fresh aroma.  I love your caffeine.  Oh my!  I love the way you wake me up so nicely, especially after that damned sun woke me so early.  I love the way I can drink you without even any cream or sugar to dilute that wonderful jolt I need to get me started.

Slowly starting to feel human,
Joanie

Dear Township,
Thank you SO much for putting the Noise Ordinance into effect!  It is so nice not to hear the trash trucks come through the neighborhood at 4 am any more, especially in the summer!  Although they aren't supposed to be here before 7, I did hear the truck today at 6:30, but since the sun woke me before 6, I guess today it didn't matter. (we have at least 3 trash companies come through over 2 days each week)

Grateful Taxpayer,
Joanie

Dear Kids,
It would be so nice if you didn't SLAM the door every time you come in really late (Tim) or go out to work very early (Dani).  If it keeps up, I will be slamming around the kitchen and turning the TV on really loud to return the favor.

Not above acting childish when it's needed,
Mom

Dear Readers,
Why not pop over the pond to Kat's Place in the UK, grab the button and get some stuff off your chest?  Trust me, it feels good to release it all!  Don't forget to Link your Dear So and So and lots of others will be able to read them too!  Go on!  You know you want to!

Love,
Joanie

We take the trash ourselves to the dump. No trucks come around here at all. Peace!!!
I think you should slam kitchen doors and turn up TV just for general principles!!!! Just saying!
Have a great day
Hugs

Yay for coffee and boo for pre-dawn garbage trucks and door slamming.

I haven't done a Dear So and So for ages! Wish I had five minutes to think straight so I could zip one out.

Love you Joanie girl!

Garbage trucks suck. Even though you were up already I'd still complain about them being there too early. If they were to you a 1/2 hour early then what time were they up the block?

Oh, I'd forgotten the awfulsound of trash trucks, now we have to haul ours to a recycling center out here.
ANd yeah, what with that damn sun? That and the birds; don't they know how precious our sleep is?

Ahh, the dreaded garbage cans at dawn. We have three different trucks that go up one side of the street then back down the other side starting at 6am. I'd like to strangle those drivers! Of course, one the trucks are done then the lawnmowers start at 7am (We live on a golf course).

No rest for the wicked ;-)

Hang in there and have a great long weekend. Hope you have extra time off work.
Cheers,
jj

The older I get, the more I value quiet. Maybe one of these days I'll join a monastery. Ha!

And your relationship with coffee is the same way I feel about Diet Coke.
