Dear So and So

Dear Phillies,
Congratulations on making it to the World Series two years in a row!  You fellas are amazing!!!

A Fan,
Joanie

Dear Phillies,
Congratulations on winning Game One in the World Series!  Lee did an amazing job with his pitching!  He made it looks so easy!

A Fan,
Joanie

Dear Spankees,
So you won a game.  Big deal.  Now you're heading to Philly territory.  Watch your backs!

A Phillies fan,
Joanie

Dear Halloween Candy,
Why, oh why did you jump into my shopping cart on Sunday?  And why oh why do you keep calling me to the pantry?  I'm just glad there are no kids living here right now for me to steal help myself to a few pieces of candy when my kid isn't looking.

Nauseously,
Chubby

Dear Angela @ TheSuburban Jungle,
Thank you so much for giving me the Lemonade Stand Award!  I am adding it to my franchise of Lemonade Stands!  I just love getting those recognition awards!

Happily,
Joanie

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear John, (no, not THAT kind of Dear John letter)
Thank you so much for the books for my birthday!  Dan Brown and Patricia Cornwell are my favorite authors!  I can't wait to get into The Lost Symbol and The Scarpetta Factor!
I love you!
Joanie
I think I am caught up on current posts :-) I am excited that your bank refunded your money. I had heard before that a debit card did not have a guarantee like credit cards. Phew!!! But....
I know the whole ordeal had to be a big hassle. Just ridiculous. And, I thought that I followed you?? Otin and some others think that blogger just drops us for no reason?? So I clicked follow again. Very odd.
Scarpetta Factor!!!! Can't wait to grab that one, but the six inch thick Scarpetta is still on my nightstand unread. I do LOVE me some Patricia Cornwell. Body Farm was my first read of hers and I was hooked.
Hey... great minds really do think alike.
Love you Joanie. Sorry I missed your call last night. My ringer was off. I'll call you today. XO
That damned candy is dangerous this time of year, jumping into everyone's carts....
(Oh, and Phillies going down...just sayin')
Jumping candy. That sucks! Mmmmmmmm, any Reese's jump in?
@Hit 40, welcome back! a little while ago, I lost a reader or 2, but couldn't figure out who it was. guess it was you! Glad you're back!
@Candy, well, we now (hopefully) have home field advantage. The next 3 games could be ours!
@Alix, I also have the book called Scarpetta, but I haven't started that one yet. I want to do that before I start Factor.
@Oh Maureen, now you will probably incur the wrath of the Recovering Actor. She's sick right now and she's a bitch when she's sick and folks talk about her Phils.
@Garret, yeah, Reese's are in there too. sigh.
Hi Joanie! I live so close to you! Souderton! Nice to meet you! I am excited about the Phillies too! Last nights game was a little nervewracking...!
So when was YOUR birthday?
I like Patricia Cornwell too, and I've had Lost Symbol for almost a month now. I need one of those days (weeks) where I can just sit and read. Never going to happen, so I need to just start reading a little at a time!
GO PHILLIES. I almost expected not to win last night! Bring it home to Philly, and we will show them!
Have a good weekend!
I think we need a BLOGGER get together!
Ohhh a new Cornwell!!!
Love the picture you posted on FB (saw it on Alix's page) for the Spankees.
Have a great weekend!!!
I've been known to stand in the pantry, digging through my kids' candy looking for the kind I like. Also, they go to bed around eight o'clock so I figure I've got a free pass after that :)
@Martha my birthday is September 21. Poor John hadn't worked in about 5 weeks, had no pay and was flat broke. So I told him we could celebrate my birthday in November when he was back on his feel financially.
@Kaishon, I'm guessing you aren't kaishon, but one of your kids. We're starting to get a lot of locals on this blog! Yup, Go Phils!!
@Mama Cass, glad I'm not the only one! I stopped at Giant today and bought 2 more bags of candy!
@Joanne, and I plan to post that picture every night the Phils and the Spanks play!
@Polly, my kids learned to take their bags of candy upstairs with them. I think my candy swiping is legendary. My kids are grown and in college now, so once this candy is handed out tomorrow night it will be gone!! Thanks goodness!
Dear Joanie,
Thanks for participating once again! I am rooting for the Phillies by default since my Cubs didn't even make it to the post season. Let's face it, they sucked this year.
Smooches, Kat
