To appreciate it, it helps to have seen at least some of the original series and a few of the movies. These actors have the original cast members' mannerisms and at times, voices, down pat! Lots of action, some humor, a few surprises, some artistic license too. We really enjoyed this movie!

Adrian saw it this weekend and said it was incredible. I wonder if Garret ever got to the IMAX. Can you even imagine Star Trek on a 4-stories high screen? Crazy man.

John and I might go to the IMAX in King of Prussia, PA to see it again in a few weeks.
I really enjoy the one who is playing William Shatner's role. Since you say it was good I'll have to trust your opinion and check it out at some point.
