Musical Mondays Moves Me!: Honoring Our Vets

Amanda at Bloggin’ with Amanda hosts Musical Monday – What Move’s You?. You can get the instructions by clicking here

XmasDolly of XmasDolly, Lori of Shewbridges of Central FloridaLarry of Cakeblast, and Callie of JAmerican Spice host Monday's Music Moves Me.

Today's theme is to honor our Vets.  The first song that came to mind was Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.  I checked out the original Andrew's Sisters' version and then Bette Midler's version. I decided on the more modern version.  Bette sure knows how to have fun when she boogies!!

To top it off, my blog was chosen for the Spotlight Dance!!  So get your dancing shoes on because we're gonna Jitterbug!  Thanks Dolly!

AND...that's all live singing---none of the Britney Spears lip-syncing for the Divine Miss M! I saw that tour, and it was incredible!

Yippee... congrats on your spotlight dance!! What a great choice and thanks for thinking of our troops!
I love Bette Midler, she constantly amazes me in her abilities... how the heck did she dance and sing wearing that outfit.
I did a tap dance to that song when I was WAY younger and was totally out of breath - there is no way I could sing, too.
Hope you enjoyed your day in the spotlight. Thanks for always playing along. Rock on!!
